Composed as follows: feed plate/sheet with two pressing rollers (one with active metal detection alarm), feed roller, lickerin, 1st main cylinder with 5 workers/strippers, top and bottom intermediate doffers, top and bottom transfer cylinders, 2nd main cylinder with 7 workers, exit in double doffers with take-off cylinders and brush roller.

Also including a Prött card suction filter unit. Max carding capacity about 950 kg/hr with coarse fiber and 550 kg/hr with fine fiber. Was running mainly polyester 10 decitex.

Through air bonded nonwovens are used in the development of durable end use products including bedding, furniture and carpet backings, as well as disposable products such as hygiene wipes and fabric softener sheets. On the production side, through air bonded nonwovens are processed without the use of chemical binders, which means a much safer production process and working environment.

1 x Bastian slitter/re-winder
An Inline system allows producing “ready for sale” rolls in an integrated step directly after the manufacturing or finishing process of the nonwovens. Winding and slitting are executed simultaneously by automatic winders with integrated longitudinal slitting systems. With the Inline system no further rewinding steps are needed and additional material stress is avoided.
